Bill and I went to breakfast with Ian and Wendy at the Burj on Friday Morning. We are trying to go out and see as much of Dubai as we can because Bill is being transferred to Doha, Qatar or Sydney, Australia.
It has been really frustrating waiting to find out where we will be going. Hopefully we will know by the end of February.
Bill has been working on the job site so I cannot drop him off at work and use the car. I have been stuck without a car. I have to take a cab if I want to go anywhere. Boy, you forget how nice it is to have the freedom to go anywhere at anytime once you don't have the freedom.
Bill and I had forgotten that the Dubai Desert Classic Golf Tournament was this past weekend. We had gone to breakfast with Ian and Wendy and we were back at the apartment with them enjoying the view from the top of our building. I said "hey what is going on at the golf coarse?" When we got back to the apartment the tournament was on TV. So, we got in the car and went over to the tournament.
I enjoyed the beautiful day and Bill enjoyed the golf. I did not know any of the golfers but Bill knew all of them.
It was the first sunny warm day since November and we really had a good time.
